You may have noticed that I offer 9 Star Ki readings both separately and as part of my Feng Shui Consulations. So what is this 9 Star Ki?
The 9 Star Ki is a form of astrology that is based on the Bagua, the I-Ching, and the 5 Elements, and we use alongside BTB Feng Shui to determine your energetic personality. The system gives each person a Principle Star, Character Star, and Energetic Star based on their birthday that are similar to a Sun, Moon, and Rising in Western Astrology. The 9 Star Ki is an extremely elegant and accurate system for understanding who you are in the world.
Your Principle Star (similar to a Sun Sign) is determined by your birth year and represents your core self, influencing your overall energy and life path.
Your Character Star (similar to a Moon Sign) is determined by your birthday and represents who you are under emotional stress and how you were as a child.
Your Energetic Star (similar to a Rising Sign) is determined by your birthday and represents how you show up in the world and what your gifts and calling are.
Each year of your life is also part of a continuous 9 year cycle, so any given year we can also determine your Current Cycle Year. This number tells you where you are in the repeating 9 year cycle and can help you understand what might be happening in life right now, why things might feel a certain way, and how to best use the energy of the year.

9 - Fire - Loving, Warm, Compassionate, Generous, Inspiring
Each person has a unique combination of three of these numbers that makes them who they are. And each year of life also carries the energy of one of these 9 stars, making it easier to understand our life path.
